Hola amigos let me tell you some things about my friend Jasmin, she’s 20, she’s a uni student, she works and she is a cancer survivor.
Just over a year ago she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, I’m gonna let her tell you her story.
What I’m going to tell you though, is how proud I am of her for shitting on the face of cancer and not only beating it, but being so positive when she could, and for working so hard on her health now. It was rough enough just seeing a close friend go through something like that and seeing the toll it took emotionally and physically, I honestly cannot imagine what it felt like, so for her to do anything other than just not have cancer any more is pretty damn impressive imo.
Now that dis bitty is in remission she’s decided to participate in this thing called the Stadium Stomp which aims to raise money for the Leukaemia foundation (which supported her during her shitty ass cancer year) and because I am the human embodiment of a sack of potatoes and cant climb two stairs without vomiting, I’m gonna help her try to reach her goal of raising $1000 dollars.
Tym 2 get sentimental - I am honestly so grateful and glad every day that she beat her illness and is now in remission because as much as we take the piss out of each other and our friendship, she’s one of (if not) my best friend(s) and I know that not everybody who becomes ill or is affected by someone who becomes ill is as lucky.
To donate, just follow this link. Every dollar counts and helps out somewhere, somehow and someone. I know not everyone is going to be able to help out as finance is dix and being young or old with a crappy or no job can be hard, but even sharing this to help raise awareness is super helpful. Whether you give one dollar, ten dollars or no dollars and just reblog this post, everyone involved in any cancer awareness/fundraising organisation thanks you!

"Have you ever felt a potential love for someone?

Like, you don’t actually love them and you know you don’t, but you know you could. You realise that you could easily fall in love with them. It’s almost like the bud of a flower, ready to blossom but it’s just not quite there yet. And you like them a lot, you really do. You think about them often, but you don’t love them. You could, though. You know you could."
